Hello

Good afternoon

I hope everyone enjoyed Christmas as much as I did 

(despite being a little poorly!) 

Was a lovely time spent with family and friends though 

and of course I got spoilt rotten!!!  

I was quite disappointed with my card making this Christmas! Although I actually ended up making quite a few cards, I did not manage to get any photos of a lot of them sadly! 

Time just ran out!! 

Maybe I should start now ready for Christmas next year he he!

Here is a small selection of cards I made.  

I am sad that I didn't take photos of all of them as I did have fun making them! - As usual!

I have so much glitter in my carpet now lol, I am sure I will still be getting glitter stuck to my toes till Easter ha ha

Camera in the car

I have been dragged in by work yet again! 

It is so hard to keep on top of my crafts after a long day at work, but I will keep on going.  

He he I was experimenting with the camera in the car, 

a little personal space project I guess!?!?! 

If I had thought about it 10minutes before, the camera would have caught us singing out heart out to the radio he he!

Creating an identity using a rubber stamp

Lying there at night with my head on the pillow, ideas are just flying around my head!  It seems every single minute of the day I just can't stop being arty! I write little notes down wherever I am to make sure I don't forget my little crafty ideas!

I wouldn't have it any other way though!

I read a school report from my year one class the other day and found this quote "Tania is always found in a corner drawing something"!  These days are not really any different!  When I am not at my full-time job, I spend most of my free time surrounded by felt, ribbons and embellishments and can be there for hours!  I love making my greeting cards and felt brooches.

Since setting up my Etsy shop, I haven't had much knowledge of marketing etc and have been struggling to create a brand image for myself.  This is where the www.stampsdirect.co.uk company comes in! 

Stamp Direct specialise in rubber stamps for offices and the workplace.  They are also able to create a stamp with any design for you!  This is how my logo came to life!!

In keeping with the handmade theme I had struggled to think of a way of getting my logo onto the back of my handmade cards and tags, for the felt crafts.  By being able to use the rubber stamp, I am able to steer completely away from a computer and printer and keep the textured, rustic feeling to my homemade products. 

The stamp really brings my logo to life and to see my art made into a stamp formation makes it feel that much more professional!  Even my delivery notes can be stamped with ease now!

So if you want to put your own stamp on something, get your own design put on a rubber stamp!

Yo yo-ing around!

Hello

I have landed back in Manchester finally after traveling up and down the country for the last 10 days! 
Firstly we hit Cornwall which involved BBQs, Cluedo, bike riding, swimming and body boarding in the sea! 
(Yes it was freezing!!!but fun lol)
Then we went across to Kent to see the family and have fun times in Legoland again! 
Back up to Skipton for a few days! 
Lastly down to Cardiff for the weekend! 
Fun times were had! 
Its very sad to be back now though :-( 
Missing my lovely boyfriend very much! 
Start new job at Millies Cookies tomorrow!

looks so so pretty!

I love the wavy curls and the hats are soooo adorable!!

Its always the way, that when I start to grow my hair I get swayed to cut it off again! But this look is cute and fun!

 The advert is based half in 1925 and half present day 

which is so clever!

Good morning! I have literally woken up in the clouds today! Pulling up my huge blind on my window whilst still lying in bed, I sat up to a big morning stretch and rubbed my sleepy eyes to see, well, not a lot! The sky was white! It looked like the world was still asleep and hiding away today! Lazy bed day would be lovely! This has made me feel all wintery though! Whilst browsing the internet this morning I started to look at party dresses! Looking ahead for the festive season! Te he! 
Here I have made a little collage of my favs that I found this morning! My favourite dress has to be the bottom left skater dress from asos.com, the little bow is so cute! It would be clever if the bow was detachable! Could even put it in your hair if you wished then!
